There's an object that I think is beautiful and it's a photo that I took of my friend after we received some amazing news.

It all started when we were in college and our teachers had a weird tradition of sacrificing a seemingly qualified student to apply to Beijing normal university for further study, as a candidate for the master degree. This college is the highest institution in the field of psychology in our country. To my surprise, my friend and I were the ones who were persuaded to apply for 2 different departments. He applied for psychological counseling while I applied for cognitive neuroscience. It was a life or death decision. Since we only had one chance for a year, we studied hard and pushed ourselves to the limit. I remember feeling like my desk was a hell of 1m² because I all know life for this exam, but having my friend by my side made all the difference. Although the exam questions were different, we shared a lot of learning resources and experiences.

After an intense period of exams, we finally received the good news we had been waiting for. We checked the results together on the website and we both got admitted to the university with high scores, setting a new record in our school. We were both overjoyed and relieved. We took a photo together to capture the moment. That photo is one that I am particularly proud of. It shows my friend and me hugging each other with huge grins on our faces. The background is blurred, but you can see the campus buildings in the distance, symbolizing the hard work we put in to get there.

Looking back on that photo now, I'm filled with pride. It reminds me of the hard work we put in and the incredible feeling of achieving something that seemed impossible. But more than that, it reminds me of the importance of having someone to go through the ups and downs of life with.
